How far in advance should I book a private chef in Antwerp? +

Two weeks is comfortable. December, and Friday and Saturday evenings year-round, book out fastest — for those, allow three to four weeks. Last-minute requests are always worth asking about; cancellations do happen.

Which parts of Antwerp does Chef Krist cover? +

The whole city — Het Zuid, Zurenborg, Het Eilandje, the historic centre, Berchem and Deurne — plus the surrounding province including Brasschaat, Schoten, ’s-Gravenwezel and Hoboken. Addresses further out are quoted individually.

My Antwerp apartment has a small kitchen. Is that a problem? +

Almost never. Chef Krist regularly cooks full tasting menus out of compact city kitchens. He needs an oven, a couple of working hob rings, a sink and some counter space. Anything else — blast chiller, sous-vide, extra induction — he brings himself.

Can you cook for dietary requirements and allergies? +

Yes, and it changes nothing about the quality. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut allergies, halal and kosher requirements are all handled. Tell us when you book and the menu is designed around them rather than adapted afterwards.

What does a private chef in Antwerp cost? +

It depends on guest numbers, the number of courses and whether you want service staff. As a reference point, intimate dinners start from around €85 per person, including ingredients, preparation, service and clean-up. You get a fixed written quote before anything is confirmed.
